Chef Dawn Bastian
Dawn was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and then went to culinary school at Kendall College in Chicago. Throughout her career, she has worked in various restaurants across the Chicago area. Dawn served as the Executive Sous Chef at the James Beard Award-winning restaurant Spiaggia, under Chef Tony Mantuano, who is currently the chef at Yolan in Nashville. She was recognized as one of the best up-and-coming chefs by Chicago Magazine and earned three stars as an Executive Chef from the Chicago Tribune, along with 3½ stars from the Chicago Sun-Times. After taking time off to raise her son, she worked as a chef at Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville. In 2021, she relocated to Nashville with her husband. Dawn enjoys boating, fishing, working out, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband Andy, her son Jack, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Teddy.

Raven Searles
Raven Searles is a Nutritionist at ChefAdvantage with a passion for food, healing, and caring for the body. With a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science, she brings extensive experience in clinical and community-based nutrition services, specializing in feeding children. Outside of work, Raven enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, reading, working out, and traveling.
